Very much looking forward to visiting the 3D PRINT SHOW at The Brewery in London.

By purchasing a VIP ticket I gain access to the Live Show on Saturday night which I’m hoping will inspire the 3D printing/costume cross over part of this project… What the organisers of the  live show say –

“A live catwalk show, featuring some of the most amazing new 3D fashion, from clothes to shoes, jewellery to hats. 3D printing has allowed designers to create shapes and textures that they could previously only imagine, so this promises to be unlike any fashion show you’ve seen before.

The show will premier the world’s first 3D printed band. This will feature music written specifically for the 3D Printshow – in many cases compositions that have been created as music themes and motifs to accompany specific pieces, designers and events within the show.

Live 3D visuals, creating incredible visual 3D displays around the walls of the room. The show will also feature exclusive contributions from key exhibitors, showcasing those selected technologies and products that we’ve been most impressed by.

Much more than just a music and fashion showcase, this event will allow you to experience the world’s most cutting edge technologies in action. There will be a number of surprise features and special guests that we’ll be announcing in the lead up to the show.”

I WILL NOT BE BEATEN

Finally I’ve managed to fix/work out some glitches and managed to print a wee box!
Now to work out why the polymer is getting stuck and needs a wee nudge now and again to keep it flowing. Something to do with the extruding motor mechanism this time.
I can’t wait to get stuck into some real designing now!

Looks Like Bladerunner feel like Running for the Blade!!!!

Right, The printer is built and yesterday all the motors were happily working away testing with ReplicatorG until the Ymotor stopped working. I don’t know why!?

I’ve managed to get it running now but ReplicatorG doesn’t want to work even after new firmware there are still no ports detected! Do you know what all this means? I don’t, but I’m trying to learn and learn quick!! Today will be spent trawling forums, crying for help and hopefully getting the yellow monster working again… It’s going to be a few days before I print my first replicant by the looks of it! Oh well…. Here’s some pretty pictures for you until that day arrives!
